Hey all. Here's one for ya. When empty the cruise works great. With a 6000lb. trailer it gets into the throttle well, but as I crest the top of the hill it keeps the coals poured to it way past the set MPH by about 10. Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity on this thing? Thanks.

I would have to guess that your pretty much stuck with what you have. If you BOMB your engine, you will change the system gain which will effect the operation somewhat, but probably not significantly.

My HO seems to have a new program that works a lot different. It is better in a lot of respects but seems to have a bug or two. Under the right conditions it comes in with a bang. Other times it comes in so slow I think it has gone south. But most of the time it is better than my '99. Doesn't seem to have as much overshoot cresting the hills.

You might ask a Dodge dealer about upgrading.

My truck did the same thing when new but, like you, it was only while towing. Dodge didn't want to do anything because they couldn't duplicate the problem(they weren't towing). I told the Sales Mgr. that it was unsafe and I would go to the NHTSA and try to get them to force a recall. The Sales Mgr. told them to fix it, they replaced a control module, no more trouble.
