My cruise control dosnt work and i would like to fix it. I have come to the conclusion of either my survo or my cruise switch. is there a way to check to survo and the switch. Thanks

The most common, and very common problem is the plastic vacuum supply to the servo. It is under the drivers side battery and tends to break a couple of inches from the servo.

Not always easy to see, but can be repaired with a short piece of rubber hose.

If it's the same as my 95 the factory manual shows the following: Remove the switch after disconnecting the battery and waiting a few minutes. looking at the switch connection with it turned so that the internal rib slot is down ,the pins are numbered 1thru 4 left to right . Check for continuity between pins as follows: with switch off(1&4)switch on(1&4,1&2,2&4)on and set(1&2)on and resume(1&3). For the servo, #1 check fuse 10. #2With ignition on check for battery voltage to fuse 10. #3unplug 4way connector at servo(hold connector with tab down 1thru4 right to left)check for bat. voltage pin 2. No voltage check brake switch. #4with jumper wire between pin 2 on servo and cavity 2 of servo check for bat. voltage at pins 1,3&4 of servo. No voltage replace servo. #5turn ign off. check for ground at pin1 of harness. Hope it helps.
