I recently had my 2000 24 valve Cummins "P" pumped. Wild Diesel in West Haven, Utah did the work. I knew going into the conversion that certain electronic functions would no longer work. I would, however, like to have my cruise function restored for those long road trips. Anyone out in TDR land know how to make this happen? Thanks. Dave at -- email address removed --

My truck is basically the same as your P-pump conversion. I put a 1995 engine in a 1998 24V truck. If your 2000 uses the vacuum actuator under the driver side battery like my ’98 does, you can do what I did. It’s as simple as mounting your APPS to the P-pump with the kit from Crazy Carl’s and use the ’98 12V cruise control cable.

If it does not use the vacuum actuator I cannot help you as I've not dealt with that one.
