I’ve had intermittent problems with the cruise control. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It cropped up originally under the warranty and the dealer fixed it. I’m out of warranty now and the issue has started again. I mostly drive highway and it’s quite aggravating when the cruise doesn’t work. Anyone else out there experience the same problem? If so, any DIY fix or is this a dealer repair?
Thanks.

Check if you have anything going odd with your brake lights. My brother had a similar issue and it was related to the brake light switch. We never could figure it out until I was behind him and his brake lights would work intermittently and flicker.

I had the same issue under warranty and it turned out the actual switches were bad and were working intermittently. They replaced them and I haven't had an issue in 6 months

It’s been almost a year and a half since the dealer fixed my cruise problem. It’ll be interesting to see if your cruise issue recurs in a similar time frame.

I had the same issue under warranty and the dealer replaced the switch panel. That was almost two years ago and I haven't had any problem since. Don

If you documented this problem while the truck was still under warranty wouldn’t this be considered an unsolved issue that’s still under warranty?

Good luck,

I had the same problem 2 yrs ago. The cruise would engage and then disengage. After driving and luck I discovered there was a switch that had gone bad on the brake pedal. Wouldn’t hurt to check it out.
