Cruise Control

2015 ecodiesel, any one else ever have the problem with their cruise control intermittently not turning on when pressing the on/off switch on the steering wheel? Some days it will work other days doesn't.

More than likely the switch or connector. The dealer can watch for the input with the scan tool.

The switch on my 13 started acting up the same way had to replace the switch.

My '18 doesn't work for the first few miles when the engine is cold, makes no difference what outdoor temperature is. I figured that Ram may have engineered it that way

Steering wheel switch starting to fail

Have replaced the steering wheel switch in my 2015 work truck twice. Common failure point. Will start to work intermittently then stop all together.

Do you need to take the truck to the dealer or can you replace the switch yourself? Anyone have a part number?
