I had the same problem when I bought my truck. I was able to get it diagnosed and fixed under a used car warranty provided by the dealer. In my case, the switch on the steering wheel was good, but the electronics on the servo were bad. I'm glad that the dealer had the ability to track it down. If your switch is good, you may want to have the tech diagnose the problem part, as there are several electronic parts that could be causing the difficulty.

Thanks. IF the switch checks aout good I guess the electronics is the only thing left. Hope it doesn,t get too expensive.

I checked it out per the manual and got it working. All it took was Dodge part no. 56006422 which consists of both switches and the terminal block.
The old switch was wxamined and the electronics were OK. There is a plastic tab on the underside of the rocker that contacts the switch and it had been used so much that it broke at its pivot point. I repaired the switch and it will work but it is not pretty.
