Cruise control switches are obsolete from Dodge/Chrysler & NAPA. I took off horn pad. (3- 1/4" socket or Phillips head screws). I found the Res/Accel switch had a crack in activation paddle. This is a tiny-piece under the Accel side of the switch. It's about 1/4 the size of a "petite woman's" pinky fingernail. I Gorilla Glued the crack, dryed 4-hours. I cut a micro size piece of rubber from a brake-backing-plate adjustment hole plug. I put it under the paddle-switch for support. Went cruzin' it works.
Caution: when you delicately pop-out the switch, there is a micro-size piston with a spring under it, that may launch: Go flying.....Don't lose those parts #@$%!
I hope this repair has enough detail.
Blessings to y'all. Godspeed, Patrick in Southern California.
