Archived cruse control

My cruse control is very touchy, after a couple of hours its shouts for no reason and will not allow to turn back on for at least 1/2 hour of engine off. Then works again for a couple of hours. Ant ideas???

Auto or Manual?

My money is on Clutch Switch (manual) or brake switch.

Pull your codes. Might be a non critical code set that is tied in with your cruise circuit.

Auto transmission and the cruse shuts down and will not work until truck is off for at least 30 minutes.
