Dealer in the Washington DC area

Just posting up to say hi. I am in the process of trying to negotiate the purchase of a 2500 quadCab, 6-sp 4x4.

I suspect it will take a few days of haggling with the dealer (Brown's Dulles Dodge) before I can get to a selling price below invoice, before rebates.

I am also trading in a couple of vehicles, so I don't think they will be losing any money! :)

Cool site. I read a lot about the G56 issue(s), shudder, drone, etc. I have also researched the Fords and Chevys, and the dodge looks better. I can't believe I am saying that, as I had sworn off any Chrysler products after a terrible experience with a 98 Dodge Neon. What a POS that was.

I may be eating some crow and driving a Dodge soon. Who knew?

Anyway, if I get the truck, I'll be posting I'm sure, so, Nice To Meet Ya'll!

I had sworn of all DC products also, due to some less than acceptable treatment concerning a new vehicle purchase. Since I found this site and all the other ones concerning diesels in general, the only choice I was left with was the Cummins. Just came wrapped in a pretty neat package. Not the most comfortable thing, but I do love that rumble and torque. Also, since the time of the previous lemon episode, I have found some really good service departments, so I feel a little better about what I am driving now. Hope your deal comes through. I love mine and am now an addict to its power.

Well, the dealer didn't want to deal. So I am selling one of my trade ins myself for now, and I'll see what's available when that's done. There are still several available 6-speed trucks in the DC area.
