Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I am still new to the CTD modification world, so if this is already in effect please forgive me. Has anyone toyed with the idea of starting a link specifically for the Bombing minded, or bombing wanna-be’s like me?
A place where people could post what they have done, what they have tried and what might have failed. A place where a person could look and match his stock vehicle with one that was already modified and get a better understanding of what the different mods might accomplish in relation to others. A place where we could see what effect certain mods might have on EGT’s, Boost, etc. and see possible solutions for any ill effects. A kind of start to finish approach to CTD upgrades with different variations per the owners different needs or set up.
Every now and then, here comes another newbee. Asking the same questions. “What will this do?” “How can I get more power?” You all are very polite and give them some direction or point them to possible searches, but some times they get partial info. or no response at all. What if we could tell them to look in the ?????? link. Find the set up that best matches yours and then look around for the final outcome you want.
I think this would be a big hit with people. Heck I would pay someone to give me a breakdown of –The best upgrades, the cheapest upgrade, do’s & don’ts, what to watch for, what can get you by, and so on as it would apply to my vehicle, my driving needs and my bank account. (or close to)
I know I will be more than happy to post my trials and tribulations when I finally get a better grasp of what I have learned and what I have tried. We could even give it a cool name like, “Gettin’ Bombed”, “Bombs Away”, “Bomber Blitz” who knows, it’s just a thought.
