I've noticed some CTD owners witnessing and reporting 30 PSI Boost on the turbo.

Thought I might observe 25+ boost when pulling a load uphill at 1500-1600 rpm's because that's max torque on the CTD.

Never seen anything over 17-18 psi boost on my EVIC at RPM'S between 1500-1700. Have seen boost in the low - mid 20 ' s at higher RPM.
Never seen over 25 psi boost.

Might be because my G56 equipped CTD is down rated to 660 ft-lbs?

Or maybe the exhaust isn't pushing the turbo hard enough at 1600 RPM's to spool up the high pressure boost?

My 68RFE will spike up to 30 or 31 psi. However, it will settle down to around 26 or 27 psi if I keep it floored.

Yeah. I think just maybe in 6th gear there may be some torque management. I suspect that the module knows it's in 6th when it compares speed to rpm.

It's trying to prevent G56 overheating I suspect. I was only pulling 5000 lbs, so I had it in 6th gear
