CTDs in Switzerland

Anyone on here have a CTD in Europe or know or CTD's in Europe. I may be moving to England this summer for three years minimum and wondering what vehicle to I take and what vehicle I sell. My decisions are: sell my truck - take my car, then by a truck when I get there; or sell my car and take my truck.

Want to even carry my enclosed trailer with me I use for my biking trips (mountain bikes).

You may want to contact this chapter: TDR SWEDEN Seems to be the only contact in Europe. I plan to ship my truck and camper over probably in 2010 if the exchange rate gets better, I have delayed it pfrom what was supposed to be this year. Good luck.

If your not connected to the military I would leave the CTD at home with Diesel at double or more than our fuel in price.

It's been quite some time since we've heard from overseas Dodge Turbo Diesel owners. Anything new to report from events or otherwise?

Yeah, I'm here since a couple years.
CTDs are here in Europe, parts are available from every Jeep/Chrysler Dealer nowadays, there is a big parts stock in Torino Italy they order from, normally we get the parts within 24h.
Switzerland has a big number of Dodges, we need them to pull heavy trailer.

If someone wants to travel Europe with his CTD, dint be afraid, its fine.
And you'll be better with a Diesel, Fuel prices are all sky high - Petrol and Diesel so you better have a Diesel for Milage.

Shipping to Europe is very easy, there is a company called "Seabridge" that do a full service for the customer. Costs around 4000.-$ for there and back.

I use them this summer/fall for our US/Ca Trip.

I moved to Germany in 2013. I left the CTD with my parents in the U.S. I do see them in Europe but I often wonder where on earth do you park such a vehicle.

Yeah, it's our daily challenge.
To be true, no one that lifes in a City buys a US Pickup, that just doesn't make sense.
To drive a US Pickup in Europe is more a statement against the Mainstream and the Politics.
Political Correctness is to drive a Prius or even better an Electric Microcar, something like a Phonebot on Wheels....

The percentage of US Pickup Owners that use it for work or travel is very small, in my eyes under 1%. 99% are Funmobiles with a big V8 Petrol Engine.

OZ when we were in Germany I expected to see more hot rod cars Porches, Lambo's ect. ? a lot of Audi A4's and no junkers guess they won't certify them when they get too old
