Cuesta Grade in CA

Just wanted to let you pullers know that the Cuesta grade Hwy. 101 out of San Luis Obispo up-grade is now done. 3 lanes both North and South bound.

Thanks for the update. Will be going down to Cal Poly in a couple of weeks. While under construction it seemed like those south bound lanes were only 6 feet wide. Real scary passing a semi with our dually and the camper.

Heck, I thought some of the workers were making a career out of that stretch of road!

Good, last time I went down and up it with my camper I got hand cramps from gripping the wheel too tight.

In Pa they do make a career out of some roads. 20years ago I-80 in pa was under construction with single lanes and lane shifts. Today it is under construction. When all the workers 20 years ago all retire- it will still be under construction.
