Cummins badge location

I know they are on the front of the fenders of 03-05, and 06 I am pretty sure they are up near the door.



I saw one yesterday at a steel company. I told him he had a nice truck (I had the bike, and yes, I haul steel on it ).



It was a QC SRW 3500 Big Horn flatbed. It had the badge located where the 03-05s are, so I said, "Is it an 05?" He said no, "2006". So I'm confused. Either it's an 06 with other badge location, OR he moved the badge (no fender flares), OR he was wrong and it's an 05 with the Big Horn, but I don't know if they made the Big Horn in 05.



Ideas?

Yes they had big horn packages in 05.



I'm guessing you couldn't see the headlights to tell if it was an 06?





One thing I notice with some people, there vehicle is whatever year they bought it. So if they bought an 06 in 2005, they call it an 05 or vice versa. Maybe that's it???

I'll bet it was an 05 then. I don't know if there is enough room to put the emblem there with the 06 headlights.

Another this is that the '05 Cummins badge would have "Turbo Diesel" in red, where on the '06 badges "Turbo Diesel" is black.

I've got a big horn and mines an 05. He probably had an 05. I think these guys are right, there's not enough room for the badge with the new head lights.
