My son and I are going, thanks to your post. Wouldn't have known about it if not for you ! We've already called to reserve a room in Virginia, just across the Potomac from the dragway...
Yup, it's a long drive, but looks worth it... We went to Virginia Beach last year, so the distance doesn't seem all that bad to us. We're watching the weather, will cancel if it looks cold and/or rainy... hope not !
Gimme a holler on here or email me if you got any ideas on a location at the track we could meet at, and a time... some place easy to find...

I'll be there with my daughter. We're staying in Waldorf which is not far from the track. I'm planning on being at the track in the 10am to 11am range. Should be a great time. Im hoping on finding some BOMB goodies at the vendors corral. As far as meeting, hmm, probably best bet would be at the main gate? Gimme a shout. Andy

Let's all congratulate Briar Hopper for winning First Place in Class at the Cummins Big Rig Truck Show. Lots of other brand trucks there, but those guys had that big Dodge so clean that it stood way out from the rest. Not even a flake of rust on the exhaust manifold! - still scratching my bald spot about that. Was a sight to behold.

mike must be the paint on the new ones , my 00 still has the paint on the manifold , and 8000 miles , but brian's is brandy new , that would explain the paint ... wish i could have made it down for the show

I don't think I saw even one truck there that I didn't like, when you've got truck fever they all look good, LOL !
Demodogg, bummer I didn't get to see ya, was hoping we could get as many TDR guys together as possible... but thanks for the timely posting of this thread, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it !

It was a GREAT day. My 7 yr old daughter had a blast! Her highlight was getting to 1) ride down the 1/4 in the school bus match race and 2) sit in a Pete 379. She took pictures of everything! Was a great time, weather couldn't be better. Some really nice rigs there and the racing was suberb.

Theres going to be another Cummins Nats in New Jersey in September. See ya there! #ad
