Cummins "C" EMBLEM (NOT Sticker)

I fell in love with the little blue Cummins "C" emblem on the back of MikeR's Ram, so yesterday I tried to purchase and/or order my own from Cummins Northwest (Renton,WA. ). I was told they were not available for purchase. Apparently the only way (?) to acquire one of these emblems is to "borrow" one from a motorhome or? The emblem (NOT sticker) is blue and is approximately 1. 5" high. Any help to my dilema would be greatly appreciated! I'd hate to turn to a life of crime to procure one. LOL

Hey John,

The little blue "C's" I have on the sides of my Ram came with the chrome alternator bracket. As I understand it, all of the chrome dress-up pieces come with at least 1 of the blue C's. Hope this helps!!! #ad

Evan, I wasn't aware that Cummins had any chrome accessories for the 24v engines.

John, As I sit here, in front of my new Apple IMAC DVD, drinking my first cup of coffee and going thru the new postings on the TDR, I am looking at a full sheet-8 1/2 X 11 in. of Cummins blue stickers, 51 of them, from 3in to approx 3/4 in. These stickers are available from Cummins. part no. 3386156. If I remember correctly, Cummins just gave them to me. Hope this helps and If you can't get them, email me Sam

Hey John,
Actually the C's on my truck were chrome and Evan's were blue. When you were at Cummins NW did you see those rectangular cabplates that say Cummins DIESEL POWER? That's what I started with and used a fine hobby saw and cut out the C's and used 3M two-sided emblem tape to stick them on. Yeah it's alot of work,but it was a slow night at work. Hehe! It's all part of BOMBing.

Hey John,

You are right, there are no chrome accessories for the 24V yet. However, the alternator bracket is the same on both the 24V and the 12V, so I installed that one. I am a firm believer that you can never have enough chrome #ad


I have a sheet of those decals too, only problem is the part that says "Cummins" is clear, not white. I go them for free from a friend of mine at Cummins NW in Renton.

BTW, the chrome alternator bracket is about $60.

Here's a photo on one I had made up last year. I went to a "Vinyl Graphics" sign shop I found in the yellow pages. I told them I wanted this made up out of the same thick, outdoor grade, weather, & UV resistant material the rest of the lettering on the tailgate was made of (DODGE). They had this stuff in all colors, I used black. They cut it out with a computer controlled machine, so it came out perfect. I had it copied from one of the "Cummins cab plates" only a little larger,6 1/4" X 2 3/4". The photo here is of a spare I kept, and still has the outer "onion skin" on it. To apply, you peel the back off, and everything sticks to the "onion skin" You apply it to the truck, then rub it down good, then peel off the "onion skin". Works fine, I put mine on the lower right corner of the tailgate... . DDG
