Fuel Mileage 2002 HO?

1975 Ford F-600 conversion

Anybody see the new Street Trucks mag with the article about Banks putting a 24 Valve in a Dakota to try and set a land speed record? They're going to use the truck to tow their equipment out to the lake bed then change the tires and gearing, try to do a couple high 100mph or even 200mph (I gotta see this), then tow everything back home. They had a pic of the engine bay with the Dak all chopped up. Pretty cool to see.

20 mpg? Jeff's 12 valve Dakota gets on the order of 30+ mpg.

I want to see them get the drag racing record while rowing through the 6-speed. At Muncie, we were really hoping they would be there. It would have been cool to have the two dakotas race each other. Maybe next year.
