Is anyone going to attend the Cummins Rocky Mountain Truck Fest on July 29th at Bandimere Speedway in Colorado?

Sounds like a RMTDR gathering to me... .

Also on June 3rd is the MOPAR's at Thunder Mountain event. It is a MOPAR only show, race and swap meet.

Might be a good day to have a few extra EZ boxs around. We could sure have some fun! I wonder if they would give us a group discount if most of us wanted to race?

Good idea Terry... now that I have my truck all BOMBed out. . I'd like to see what she can do in the 1/4.

Let's gather up a list of people that are interested and approach them with the idea.

Last year a CTD won the burnout contest. This contest is not how far you can go, but how long you fry the tires and how much smoke you can make. The crowd decides who wins. A guy with a Duster fried'em till the tires blew out and still could'nt beat the Cummins. #ad

Hummmmm, sounds like a road trip to me. I usually fly because it's cheaper, then I end up with O2 deprivation! I attended Bandimere's swap meet in September, and I would love to get out there again. I'll have to schedule that in!

Actually, it was a new Super Duty Powerstroke 4X4 that won the burn out contest. There was a primer black '59 El Camino that was second to last that looked like he was gonna win, then the Ferd pulled up and roasted the AT's. He had to open the hatch on the topper and let all the smoke from the bed escape.

I'm pretty sure it was a red short bed CUMMINS, and since it is a MOPAR only show I don't think a ph**rd could enter.

My bad, I was talking about the truck fest (not the Mopar one). One of my buddies entered, but the rear disks on his new Chevy don't make for very good power braking. A couple years ago there was a semi tractor that did a 1/4 mile power brake.
