Hey guys, I've been out of the loop for a while. What is the status on the newest revision of Cummins lift pump, reliability, price and availibility? Right now I have Carter 15psi in front, which I think is going south AGAIN:mad: , Carter 7psi pusher, feeding DD2's and an Edge Comp. Thanks

$133. 00 + tax at Freightliner in West Valley, Utah. Also noticed a Cummins Genuine Parts sign as I drove past a Kenworth dealer the same day. But didn't stop to check their price.

Cummins Intermountain in S. L. C. Utah was $164 + tax.

The latest part number as far as I know is < 3990105 > for Cummins. Freightliner was able to use that number also.

Local Freightliner was $133 + tax.

Apparently Freightliner put a Cummins engine in something a couple of years ago (as told to me by the parts counter person) and therefore they have access to Cummins parts direct.

I get all my Cummins stuff there, cheaper than Cummins with a "Cummins Owners" 10% discount.

I was talking to Cummins tech support 2 weeks ago, 3990105 is the most current number (at least since my call).

Carter

If this is the Carter 4600HP @ 7psi

or

Carter 4601HP @15psi

SummitRacing has them for $75. 88 and $85. 88 respectively

I was think of doing a dual parallel pump at the back. With these pumps you could afford to.

Was just noodling on the plumbing and external presure regulator requirments.
