Cummins M11 Plus

No - I don't want to put this engine in my pickup. But, I drive a truck all day with a Cummins M11 Plus and would like to "turn it up" a little. Unlike our pickup trucks, these engines parameters are software adjustable. The Cummins program that would do this for me is called INSPEC 3. Does anyone have access to this program (INSPEC 3)that could make a copy or tell me where it is available?

You'll have to buddy up to a Cummins mechanic, unless someone here can help. I've seen the program on a laptop in action. We have a couple hundred in our fleet, and they've been breaking pistons, especially with high hours. Hope that the piston cooling nozzles never clog! (keep the oil clean) Otherwise a good engine.

Too bad you are not on the West Coast, as our shop has the software and datalinks to hook up to any Cummins ECM. Try calling up Cummins Cumberland, or a heavy truck shop. KW and Peterbilt dealers all have the equipment. #ad
