I have broken the 100,000 mile mark and I need to do some serious service.
Several questions,
1. Is it less expensive to get Cummins parts from a Truck Service Center or a Dodge dealer?
If so, what about part numbers?
2. Coolant. What's the boards preference, the premixed or mixing it yourself? Also, what brand and type?
3. Rear and front differential. The Amsoil product or ??
As always, thank you.

I usually save about 50% by going to the local Cummins dealer here. Just tell them your application and hey can get just about everything for the engine, not sure about the rest of the truck. Not sure what type of part numbers you looking for.
There are a lot of people using the Amsoil products with great results(there ya go Gene #ad
). Personally I use the petro based fluids only because I get a really good employees discount. I've also never has a failure due to lubrication either. I guess it's more of a personal choice.
Hope some of my rambling helped.
