Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cummins parts numbers anyone?

I have been on this site for a few hours doing searches for a good Cummins part number for a Map sensor in my 2000. Everything I have written down and called the parts man with is wrong. Does anyone on here have a list of part numbers for Cummins parts for the typical crap that goes wrong on the 24 valve? TIA Chris

You can go online and to the cummins website and use their quickserve program: http://quickserve. cummins.com/?SMIDENTITY=NO You can enter your engine serial number and get any part # you need.

The MAP sensor for my 2001. 5 ETH is 3417030 and was about $70. Pretty sure it's the same, but hopefully someone can confirm it.



The Cummins Quickserve is an awesome tool. Definately worth getting the number off the dataplate on your engine (as you face it, the right side of the gear case by the injection pump).

2000 MAP sensor is different. The electrical socket is round, not oval. I am holding the wrong one right now. Anyone know the number for the 98. 5-00 MAP sensor? Best place to get one?

I don't have the part # handy but if call cummins and give them the serial # of your engine they can ship you one direct. Heck for $10 they will overnight it!

#3417030 is for an 01 not sure if it will fit a 00
