I just ran into that "POS" thread. Here's how I see it.

My Mom has a 99, my Sister has a 00, I have a 00, and my Dad's 95 is now my pulling/farm work truck.

I drove a buddy to Dallas (10 hours) to get his 96.

We're all tickled pink with our trucks, but they are motor vehicles. Some things wear out, and some things didn't have the engineers full attention when designed. No make is immune to that.

Timing is everthing--except for the part that is Luck.

I don't care for the looks or sounds of the other diesel offerings and used to drive fords.

As JD said--Some folks don't deserve Cummins Powered Rams. ;) :D

like you said old trucks will need work. i dont have the money to pay someone so if you want an old truck start buying tools and get ready b/c the little things will add up. they can become a money pit if you have to pay someone to do everything. for example the things you sould learn to do yourself: ball joints to do youself $150 to pay someone 800 to 1100 etc.
