Where in sacramento is a good shop for setting the pump?

Asking for a friend. Is there a cumming west in town? If so who to ask for?

There is a Cummins West in west sac I believe. They don't set your pump to anything but factory spec. If you intend to advance the timing slightly then I'd recommend BPINE in San Jose.

Thanks guys i think he just wants to have it set to standard. He is haveing trouble not get any higher mileage then 12 to 13 and the exhast has a lot of soot. The truck is a 98 4x4 with 410's. I ask how fast he drives and he said 60 to 65. Any ideas?

Sure!! Advance the timing to aroung 15-16 degrees advance!! That will help the mileage!
