What is the difference between the 89/90 springs and the 91-93 springs?

I have not driven the 91. 5 for about 3 months. Yesterday I decided to take it out after I high idled it for a while in the drive. I noticed about 2 teaspoons of coolant dripping down. Tracked that down to the water pump. But it wasn't the weep hole. It could see drops between the pump/block interface on the bottom. It stopped after it warmed up but I guess I should pull it and replace the gasket or oring... which ever it has. May as well get a reman pump while I have it off considering 200K miles.



I also noticed diesel dripping off the bottom of the VE pump. Originates from the bottom, engine side. Can't quite see while running even with a mirror. I think its the plate and oring you can't see on the engine side. Suppose that means it needs to come off as well. I think the fix is easy... but I'm thinking of a total rebuild and seal kit. I guess I need to talk to Scheid this week about doing that. May as well go through it while its off.



This is what I get for thinking about getting it out of the garage. Probably should drive it more often. :)
