Bad Math

They say a 0. 1 mpg decrease increases fuel cost 10 percent. What kind of new Math is that? DC should go back to 5th grade math and pay attention this time.

The math works if DC only expects 1 MPG.

They also state that each mph over 55 provides a 10% increase in fuel cost. Think Ill lslow down to 45 and save 100%!

This seems to be a paraphrase of a Cummins white paper posted on their site. The paper went in to a lot greater detail with research to back it up.

They may have research but the math is still wrong! Do you know how to get to the white paper on their site?
