Cummins Truckfest thoughts

What a great weekend!!!!!Saturday was a blast, though not as many diesels as I had hoped, anybody know what broke on the 2cd gen 2 tone ats truck? glad to see it back Sunday. Man that red 1st gen goes Oo. Sunday Mike did the TDR proud to bad the rain stopped the last run :{ Does any one know what snapped on Clint's truck? heck of a noise. Who else was there? what are your Thoughts.





ps. Scott you and Dustin are what motor sports are all about pure class acts. Thanks for taking the time to visit with me and the wife Saturday.

I had fun, some quick trucks there. It was my first time going, I will have to run my truck next year. I was hoping to see the Edge drag truck, or the one from Banks. Looking forward to next year.

We ended up going to Truckfest on Sunday morning, then the motocross race around noon. All I know is, I wish we had stayed at the Truckfest. There were some fast trucks. What did Mike end up running? I saw Craig Monroe run his "twinned" 3rd gen-ran in the mid 13's. I was wondering if Troy from ATS ran his blue 3rd gen that recently aquired twins also. He's not in TDR, but had around 500-600 HP before the twins. It was the one on display at the ATS area. I've ridden in that thing, and it's pretty awesome.

Went on Saturday but not Sunday. I probably missed the better day? Don't know. I also thought there would be more diesels, but it was my first time. There were some fast trucks. Duramax in the 11s, Awsome 1st gen in the 14s (on Saturday 13s on Sunday), NADP's 6. 0 taking out a Turbo with NOS. It was interesting. I was hoping to see more vendors other than ATS. Anyway now I am trying to get a few friends together to go to Indiana at the end of August. I am sure there will be more diesels there.

I was really impressed with the turn out on sunday. It was my first time racing and was a blast. There could have been more diesel performance vendors but all in all it was a great day. My best time was 15. 77.

Clint broke a transfer case.



We had a bunch of fun, and made a total of 6 runs, 4 on Saturday, and 2 on Sunday. We were messing around, and Dustin lauched once off an idle, and ran a 13 second 151 MPH pass. The crowd liked it the best of all.



Best pass 9. 06, still bad considering. We know why, and are changin a few things.

It was a good time. I brought my brother-in-law( a powerstroker ) and he was impressed by the Cummins power, especially Kurt's red 1st gen.

It was kinda sad that the best time of the day was turned in by a D-Max. Somebody in Colorado needs to get a Cummins in the 10's to show those guys up next year.

Yeah, I told him that, and he then pointed out the data logger showing how he did his job, and I SCREWED UP!

Sorry about being late just got back in town since truckfest. My buddies and I thought this year kinda suck compared to last years. We wish there was some faster cummins. Its funny seeing a AT$ truck sitting on the sidelines.

The motocross, I think screwed us. Oh well I will be back next year for sure, we always have a good time talking to one and other. I think DHRA needs to get involved. The guys with big turbos seem to get a green lite to quik. Just my thoughts. I was crusing FT. Collins Friday night and everyone that was trying race, I told them to meet me at the track sunday, funny I was there, wear were they?
