As others have posted, you play, you pay. The EZ box has a good history with not causing problems. As I understand it, they really look for the boxes that tap into the pump wire. However, I did take my EZ out for the one trip to the dealer I had to make in 15000 miles (recall, broken alternator bracket and buzzing speaker). I also have an airbox mod and they said nothing about it. However, if I was to lose the turbo I am sure they would.
My last two Ram Diesels made 150,000 miles with minimal dealer work anyway. Nothing was ever done with engine directly on any of them except for a crank position sensor. I am comfortable running the EZ on mine and knowing (although highly unlikely) that I may have to be my own warranty station. The EZ box is worth every penny in my opinion.
