Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cummins Uprate?

hey guys, just had somw quick questions. my buddy (another tdr member) has a cummins uprate kit on his 2000 3500. he bought it from the dealer shortly after buying his truck. i looked on the cummins website about it and it has very little information. does anyone have any experiece with this setup? how much power, EGTs, price, things of that nature. the website says its for 1998-2000 trucks, will it work on my 2001? its not really important, just wondering. thanks

how does that work with fueling boxes? Is there really a need for the ecm? What happened to Marcos MAD ECM?

I was looking into the Torqus Maximus when my ecm went out on me this past summer. Got to talkin to some people and if thats the only thing you want to upgrade on your truck - go for it. But if you go to adding fueling boxes and injectors, you actually make more power with the stock ecm. That was what some of the boys at Piers told me. Personally I didnt believe it was worth the money if you have a flawless ecm already - spend your money on an fueling box and youll be happy.
