Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) CUMMINS & V-10 5 speed

I know a guy that has a super low mileage 2500 with a V-10 & 5 speed. It has a salvage title & recently he left it out of gear & it rolled down a little hill & hit another parked truck. If it didn't have one of those cheap chrome push bar-grille guards it would have only sustained minor damage to the front bumper but the guard got the Cowl induction hood, both fenders, lights, grille, & the bumper. Anyway does the V-10 use the same bellhousing, adapter, & input shaft that the cummins uses? Any of it the same? Its cheap, & he has pulled out alot of the damage & still drives it every day.
