I would like to see a diesel 1/2 ton truck. Especially one that was in the 20 mpg range consistantly, on a 4x4 of course.

Any of the automakers are welcome to do this, not just dodge. I would consider one.

Yup... they've been "testing" a V-6 and V-8 in the Durango and Ram respectively for several years now. I have a prior copy of the linked document from 2002.

The more I experience diesel power, my own rig, the more I'm sold on how well it works After reading about Clessie Cummins,(issue 53), and the Parkard Limo that clocked 35mpg back in the day, what are the transportation icons thinking about in this country I am a true American Patriot for many reason, but come on now :--) lets get the diesels in the garage, and on the roads. Clessie started it, come on USA, get it together
