Cummins V8 5L Diesel

Just found this on the web: http://autoindustrynewsletter. blogspot.com/2013/03/cummins-v8-is-still-in-development.html. Cummins is still working with OEMs to sell the 5L V8 diesel. I wonder who?

I bet we see a Toyota or a Nissan with a Cummins badge in the future.
-Dodge (excuse me, Ram) has already mapped out what they are going to do (Cummins for HD, VM for light)
-Ford is heavy invested in their Powerstroke program
-GM is heavily invested in their Duramax program
-Toyota and Nissan are the next likely buyers.

Yes, Ford or GM could put it in their half ton trucks, but I doubt either making that move. They have been marketing their products against Cummins for so long, they really couldn't now put a Cummins in their product.

Toyota really wants to play in the diesel market, and this would give them some name recognition with out taking anything away from an existing Toyota product. I see them as the most likely purchaser.
