Curiosity - transmission cooler lines at the cooler

Anyone had them come off and or break? My understanding its a crappy design problem? I can tell you this it will put a damper on your day when your on your way to work at 1030pm and your sitting on the side of the highway



Cost me $100 in aftermarket stuff to repair it. But was told I shouldn't have any more troubles with it.



Apparently the design has changed now and the stuff from the dealer is around $500... ... ... just as info.

Kat, I didn't have any trouble up front by the cooler. I did have problems with the hot transmission line coming out of the transmission. It cracked in the first bend out of the transmission. Had it brazed, to get to stealer. I was headin up to devils tower from Rapdi City, SD for a day trip and was solo. Good thing I had the DD trans pan. I might of had bigger problems. Never saw temps to tell me anything was wrong. I just noticed it when I stopped to fuel back up. Oil was all over the bottom of the truck and up the tail gate.



That was at 32k now at 44k. No problems since.
