I've got a CEL and being told it is O2 sensors. I would think that is covered in the emissions warrantee. Currently Dodge is having computer issues and they can't tell me if it's covered. Should it be?



Also, they can't get the truck to repeat the transmission issue. I know it's not good so I guess I'll do a fluid change and "look around". I wouldn't be suprised if I see a linkage issue and chips in the pan.



They want to do a fuel filter change to include an additive. I said no thanks, I'll do it myself.



Not feeling good about this truck anymore. I'm starting to feel like a good wash and wax and for sale sign are in the near future. I sure don't trust it to any real work.



It's sad that this truck has been to the dealer 5 times and my 89 never needed anything I couldn't do myself.

What DTC are you getting? What are your transmission problems? They always want to change the fuel filter because it's easy revenue and takes little to no effort PLUS fuel is a major issue for some folks.

If I find a low mileage 89 I'll send you the info. :-laf

Time to get a 2013 and sell the 2008 while a lot of people still think the old emissions recipe is better than using DEF.

Excellent advice. Personally, I wouldn't consider it, as my signature truck is running great and still looks like new. It has aged much better than my '95 did.

The sensors are not covered beyond 3/36 basic warranty.
