I was coming out of an intersection with mom in the passenger seat with the air on and a nissan car tried pushing me out of the road at the merge.
I hit it a little harder to try and pre-empt this moron and the truck refused to shift out of third gear with the air on. I went the #$%^ off. Voltage was fine. Shifts normally with the air off and normal pedal.
The next time it did it was a large hill (have serveral in the normal beat around here) a car turned at the bottom of the hill and I had an 1/8th mile to get back up to speed. I got to 55 expecting a shift at about 52-53 and it never came. No lock up- tached out. Only reason I can think of is the PROM my PCM has.
The truck also holds out whatever gear it is in if the throttle is anywhere near 90% or more. (lost a light to light to a ford because of that foolishness) Someone please help me. If it would just shift at 2000rpm under heavy throttle i'd be very pleased.
