dblake, are you wanting a custom Slide in camper? If so , go to a search engine like dogpile.com and type in home made camper. There was an article in the old Popular Mechanics from years ago that shows how to build a slide in camper for about $1000. 00 in total cost materials. It looked pretty sturdy. You can build it yourself. I hope this helps.

I'm interested in the same. I tried the search and found a site with the plans (for a $45 fee) but am looking for more. Maybe someone that builds custom campers also might help (similar to Earthroamer's).
