so i took my diamond eye exhaust and stright piped it. but the wife yelled at me for the noise. so i had to stick the muffler back on, but i HATE u bolts and slip joints. SOOOO i got 5 inch v-band clamps and flanges... . HAHAHAH so now i can drop my muffler out and replace it with a stright pipe super quick! i also plan on shipping the exhaust out and having it JET HOT coated inside and out from the turbo back! no rust... .

looks good but there should be no reason for the muffler!!!!!

if you have to have it :(..... then put a y-pipe with a cut out on it and an actuator. that way the truck is MUFFled when she rides, but a flip of a switch and you got straight pipe exhaust

Thats not a bad idea. It's not only for noise control but for those who have to have the muffler to pass inspection. How long did it take you to put all the flanges and clamps on?

I really like that idea, we just had a baby and I never really cared how loud it was until I noticed the other day how loud it is in the back seat, that could solve my problem.

only took about 4 hours on my back not counting the beers..... but it was fun. it should not rust... but lots of things "should not... . " :)

What is the black material on the inside of one flange in their picture? Maybe I dont know enough about these, but surly its not a rubber o-ring.
