A couple of you have been asking as to the progress of my dash gauges. Well, I finally got the dash gauges finished this past week for the crew project. Oo. For those who were not following along, I was going for the factory look, yet with aftermarket guages.

As for the original oil pressure, alternator and temp gauges, they will now also be Autometer but relocated to the A pillar.

As for the custom gauge insert in the left pod, that was a custom CNC from a block of aluminum. That now houses all of the dummy gauges lights and the two fuel gauges. :D

Here is how it turned out!Oo.

WOW!!!

Robert, your an artist and a genious! this is beautiful. well done. i love the setup. the speedo and tach are awesome. you really plan on hitting more than 4500 or so rpms with the VE?? i love it. i cant wait to see it in the truck light up.

No, it will not see more than 3-3500 rpm, but it was the only 5" diesel tach that I could get that matched the 20 other Phantom gauges!;) As it was Autometer made the tach custom for me!

Also, the crew is now a P7100!:D

Robert

ah i see. that sounds more like it :D its stilla beautiful set up. did they actaully custom build it for you? if so thats pretty cool.

congrats on the P-pump. hows it workin out for you?

hold the boat how did you get them to build a custom one ... . i called and asked and they would not do it for me i need one for a ultralite and they said sorry

I needed a tach and was told the only way they could accomodate my needs was to custom do the colors on a existing gauge. As I needed a Phantom style, they charged me a generous $$$ (I do not remember what it was exactly) amount and just changed the colors. They were not willing however to make any other changes.

Hope that helps!

Robert

Correct. I wanted a 4k rpm, but they were unable to do that. Hence the reason I now have a 6k when I will never see more than 3500 rpm.....

Still looks kind of cool though! :D
