Looking to get a #5 plate... I have a #8 right now that I got directly from TST. ('95 - 5 speed) I found a place that says they "cut" profiles of plates from regular stock plates for about $70. (with EDM - wire burning?) Do any of you guys have these plates? IF they are EXACT duplictes then they should be the same, right? I wrote TST a note to see how much TST would charge to "swap" the 230 plate for the 270 plate, they haven't had a chance to write back. I also have heard you guys talk about others vendors plates? Anything that works the same as the #5 that is cheap? Thanks guys! Jeff

i'd say do it yourself, or buy from the people who built the plates. There are some funky plates out there that will only make your truck run worse. The CTD deserves a little more than a cheap plate that somebody is copying, but that is my opinion and doesn't mean that all should think or do what i say. Mark Chapple and Joe D. got some great plates out there that work great. I would pick out the one u want from them first. Also, if u already have one of there(TST) plates, i believe that it would be cheaper to trade them for the one u want now. Reb
