After doing 3 runs with the stock header up my test hill I threw on the new one and did 3 more runs up the same hill. All the runs were full throtle from 1500rpm(around 53mph)to 2500rpm(around 90mph). Stock was between 16. 5 and 16. 75 seconds and with the new header it was between 15. 5 and 15. 75 a good second off the stock time. Boost pressure and egt were about the same. Thats about a 6% gain in spoolup and acceleration or about 10 to 15hp. Here's a pic of the installation.

I have some more pictures of the construction and evolution of the header here. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=1506659&a=11375901&f=0

do you feel the manifold can support the weight of the turbo and the vibration, I think this is a serious aspect personally, Am I wrong????????????

It's schedule 80 pipe. Thicker and stronger than the original header. It warped a little from the welding when I removed it from the jig so I put it under my truck with a block under each end and a bottle jack in the middle. It lifted one side of my truck off the ground without bending at all. More than strong enough to hold a turbo.

Awesome!!!!! Let us now what it does for economy when you know.

Just did a run up to reno and back 360 miles. Got 22. 2mpg measured to the filler neck. Seems pretty good for a quad cab, long bed 4x4 on winterized diesel. Especialy as hard as I run it.
