Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cut out problems

I am having problems with a 2000 3/4 5spd no mods other than straight pipe. Engine cutsout hard when you step on it and major lack in power. At idle sounds fine no od ticks or anything. Pickup was running fine then all of a sudden started this. No check engine light or any dash lights. any ideas. I got to go work on it tommarow.

Has the fuel pressure been checked? If it's good how about changing the fuel filter.

Yeah i got a lift pump on the way, and put a guage on it when i got there and sure enough no pressure changed out pump and ran like a champ. thanks
