Cutting Aluminum

Hello,



I just purchased a set of rims and tires that came off a H2 Hummer. The center section of these rims is too small and need to be opened up to 4. 774 inches. I don't have a mill and am trying to figure out the best way to open these up without taking them to a machine shop.



If I have to have them done professionally I will, but there should be a way to do this myself. I have a reasonably good tool collection and am reasonably competent in the shop.



Any ideas?

shop take them to a shop and have it milled out. nothing else will be steady enough nor acurate enough to do it right

Just finished opening up these rims. Router worked great.

Took the truck for a test drive, felt good and looked good.
