It depends on what type of material you are working with and what type of machining process you are doing (drilling, tapping,sawing, turning or milling).
If you only use or do a small amount of machining work the "Rapid Tap" is a good all around cutting fluid.
Do alot of aluminum work?, "A9" (also a Relton product I believe) is very good, and for stainless steel I will often use a product called "Anchor Lube", which is water soluble for various applications.
There are many other fluids out there, and if you can get some free samples from suppliers, just keep trying til you find one that fits the bill.
