I installed my pyro this weekend and to make a long story short, I had to cut the wire from the thermocouple to the pyro guage. I noticed the wire was shielded and had a yellow, red, and a bare copper wire, a drain wire? Anyways I spliced the red, yellow, and copper back together and the guage works. I does seem to read a little low, maybe it's just me.

Anyone know if there could be a problem in cutting this wire?

Mopar $$$ tow hooks that should be standard.

Cutting the wire is not recommended. I think it has to do with a known resistance which would be changed based on wire length and/or splicing.

Chaw, do a search on thermocouple, I posted a similar subject a week or so ago called "thermocouple again". Quite a bit of interesting info in response, hope this helps.
