Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) cycling the AC

When the old freon was used it was recommended to run the compressor a couple times a month to keep the lube or oil on the vital parts. is it necessary with the 134 that is used today to keep the lubrication in there??

Yes, it also keeps the seals from drying out. The A/C goes on with defrost so most folks don't need to think about it.

Remember that your a/c compressor cycles everytime you run the defroster... ..... Andy

I don't breath that hard to fog up the windows, usually hang my head out the window any way. so as not to do any fogging.
