i sat in a d-max the other day an i was quite suprised that the redline wsa the same as my ctd... where does the chebby make its hp and torque Oo.

The ones I drove started making power around 2000 but by 2300-2400 it is quite impressive all the way up to 3350+. But doin't ask for anything below 2000, they fall on their faces down low. The new Ferd is even worse down low, they don't even think about power until 2400!

i drive a 4500 dmax at work nice truck up to where the engine is lol i have had it when downshifting in the hills the 5spd alision(i think its bad but the boss says to do it)have to down shift to hold it the exh brake doesn't work well tho it did(dealer doesn't kow whats wrong tho i do) but when downshifting i have had it to 4k+ tho hammered down it will shift 32 33 or so and it won't accel unless it downshifts even the cruise makes it downshift before accel mostly cause i think chevy knows there no bottom end and ur trying to pull a load up the seirras those in jamestown and the souronding areas no what preice grade is like lol it has to wind tho once over about 2k where the turbo hits it pulls hard all the way thro 33 where it shifts
