Just ordered some D25's and wanted to know if anyone is having trouble with these and a stock track bar. I realize it will offset the front axle but how much? And can you keep it in alignment? I want to add an adjustable bar when funds allow. Which one does the best job??

Thanks

The stock trac bar will be fine with D25's. Just make sure you get the truck re-aligned after you install them.

I didn't because it didn't affect my steering wheel therefore I didn't think it affected my alignment. WRONG! after a couple of weeks it wore out my stock trac bar and I started getting Death Wobble.

Interesting. I put on D25 coils and didn't get an allignment. Then I went on to get 59000 out of a set of BFG All Terrains. And the only reason I got rid of them was because I got sick of looking at them. That was with factory wheels, shocks and steering stabilizer. In fact I didn't get my first allignment untill the day before I got my new tires and have since put new shocks and stabilizer on. :)

Your stock track bar after the lift will cause your axle to stick out about an inch further on the driver side than the passenger side.

If you don't mind... GO FOR IT. ;)

Big brown truck showed itself this evening. :D Kids think the new springs make nice stools with a pillow on top for the tv. Will get down to the company shop in the next couple days to use the lift and other shop tools for the install. Shop even comes with a head mechanic for the proper bribe to his wife.

Ordering mine tomorrow! Oo. :)

Mine didn't stick out quite an inch, I ran that way for about a year before I spent the cash for a dtprofab trac bar. But you will need an alignment, when you lift the front end with springs you will cause the front end to be towed in too much. causing outside tire wear.

Got the d25's installed yesterday. It was quite easy with a lift. Where can I buy the DT adjustable track bar? The front end only moved less than an inch but I would like to put in the DT before I take it in for alignment.

Just ordered my D25's from ORW and my advice is to order for Summit Racing. Cost me about $10 more WITH the TDR discount then the set I ordered for my first truck through Summit Racing. Oh well doesn't bother me they were a birthday gift.

Other brands of adjustable track bars in use, ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

None that I know of, unless you have a 4" lift in which case Sky Jacker makes one.

Well I got my D25's on Friday and I installed them today. I am ******! #@$%! #@$%! #@$%!

Only got like 1. 5" of lift!#@$%! I'm going to call ORW in the morning and see what's going on. When I called last Monday they only had one set of springs left and they were a set on display. Wonder if they were actually diesel coils

One thing is for sure they gotta go! I'm planning on 315's so I gotta get between 2" of 2. 5"

Sounds like you got the wrong springs, I got 3" out of mine. If you plan to go with 315's you should also go with longer links because if you dont you will have rubbing issues. My 315 would not turn at all until my longer links. They hit the rear wheel well. Good thing my links were sitting there waiting for install, I just wanted to see if the tires would fit prior to there install and they didnt. Good luck.
