Look it is just beggin for a Cummins!

Need all 4wd parts for 96 dodge

I would love to know if anybody has heard of a dacota or durango cummins conversion for sale. I would be very interested in a highspeed cummins to compete with the cayenne turbos which you see everywhere on the autobahn over here in Germany. I have in mind something like the sidewinder from banks and due to my experiences with my `95 12v and my Scout with the 406 chevy, it is a lot of fun to do the conversion step by step yourself

( like I did with my other vehicles) but parts are hard to come by in Germany and there are not a lot of people to rely on if it comes to diesel tuming so I guess I´m better of this time to just buy the right truck. I would appreciate any hint and would love to hear if anybody has experiences with the combination of moderate propane with water/meth injection.

Lotus Elan turbo conversion 2000lbs,240Hp (dyno, Din HP)1. 8 4 cylinder lots of fun

I bought the first one in 88 when I was at UCLA, installed the 406 a couple of years later and up to 100mph no Cayenne - even with chip- has a chance but obviously i´m sort of gron up right now and the safety of the scout is not really convincing so i thaught about something different but really fast. My Dodge runs just fine and I can easily compete with the V10 Volkswagon SUVs but the sidewinder is exceptionaly fast and somethig like that would be worthwhile.

My BMW conversion is smog approved and with some work to the pump and the installation of an effective intercooler i can keep up with all the modern diesel SUVs you see in Europe. And ist still a nice looking convertible and if you check on the nu Bronco you see where the Ford guys stole their design. The new Bronco looks more like the Scout 800 than the new Mustang looks like the 67`fastback.

Tell me if you know of any real fast Cummins for sale.

regards T. T.

I don't know of any for sale, and the only other one besides Banks that I knew of, was Jeff Garmon's, (Garmon Diesel Performance. ) but Captain Crunch customized the sheetmetal.

DavidTD may know of one.

Didn't know of the new Ford Broncos, have to look into that.

Oh yea, Scout+406 does not = SAFE! LOL

:D Me thinks that would be sweet! Too bad Garmon's Dak had to hang the pump, sweet truck it was. I'm contemplating such a conversion myself, built for an all around drag/road race truck. Soon as we get this common rail thing figured out it should be a go.

Find a Durango that is to be shipped out to South America and modify it. They are making and have been one for down there a diesel version with a 4BT in it. I have seen one at the Mopar Show in Carlisle a few years ago. The owner also had a Turbo Diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee(small one) there on display... ... ..... Andy
