His starter quit on his 99 2wd.

Says he has one coming from Carquest Saturday morning. Hes going to attempt to change it himself, but honestly, he is too old and decrepit to handle it.

Don't tell him I said that.

If anyone is close enough to lend a hand, or know of a good garage I can talk him into taking it too, I would appreciate it.

You can call him, Larry, 928 473 4140

or me 724 376 3367

Thanks!

Whereabouts is Miami, AZ at?

If it is near Maricopa or Tempe, I know someone who will probably help him out.

Weather looks to be bad on sat. Tell me how I can help. Might have to work in the am but could head that way around lunch. SteveinAZ

Thanks Steve. I called him this morning, hes checking to make sure the parts store got the starter in, then calling you.

I don't know that theres much difference between getting the starters off, besides different accesseries in the way? Just some good 12 point sockets.

Thanks again.

My cousin FINALLY called me back. He actually isnt in Maricopa this weekend, he is fishing somewhere in Kansas.

Thanks fellas, you ain't going to believe this, but he he got it changed today!

Said the neighbor helped a little.

Maybe I'm counting the old guy out too soon, or maybe when I'm around, he is more feeble?

Steve ,he said he called and left a message, thanks for making the offer, I really appreciate it.

Having this kind of support, is what makes the TDR, and Cummins owners, a step above every other site! :D

Started out at work this morning with the intension or working 2 to 3 hours. 12 1/2 hours later and I'm done. The whole crew was called in to work and I ended up having to fuel all the equipment twice. Glad to hear that the neighbor was willing to help. Call if you need anything else. I'm not always in Phoenix, I go where the work is. SteveinAZ
