Chris, it's nowhere near Sulphur Springs. The dyno is right on the line between Rockwall and Royse City. The track (if we go) is half way between Rockwall and Greenville. I was just using Greenville as a refrence point.

Cool beans.

I'm still wondering if I'll be able to spool to my potential on the dyno.

Think it would be cheating to ride the brakes, and go WOT to spool the turbo's, then tell the operator "go" so he can start recording once the turbo's have lit?

Merrick Cummings Jr

Yeah Merrick it would be cheating.

BUT, if you make a couple of good and "legitimate" runs. Then maybe you could try one "cheater" run just to see what you can get. It would be nice to know. :D

But then again if everyone has the option of doing the same then its an even field. Its all just semantics.

I would like to come if work if I can get off work should I bring the 96 or the new 03 I would like to get a base line for both I'm young only 19 but I'm just as much into my diesels as anyone else me being to young would not be a problem would it

thanks Roy:D

Age is not a problem Roy. Besides I'm not too much older than you, neither is Merrick. Heck Merrick and I need someone else around that's our age. Of course most of thse guys are just grown up kids so its an even field any way you look at it. :)

We don't care how old you are just as long as you have a diesel and able to come. You're more than welcome to show to just talk or dyno. If you have some buddies around Fruitvale or Grand Saline area tell them and bring them if you can. It doesn't mater which brand diesel it is,all brands are welcome to come.

yeah don't worrie about age I'm only 22 and have been going since I was 19 or 20 and everyone is friendly as can be. oh by teh way bring the 96. JMO

well ill try and get out that way I'm not far about an hour I don't have but one Buddie that has a diesel around here and his clutch is slipping so i bet he wont be able to make it unless he gets a clutch in i may let him drive the 96 out and ill drive the 03 what time will all this start up

Merrick is 20

DRice is 22

CHarlan is 23

TxDieselKid is 23

Battering_Ram is 23(?)

Chris "I'm gonna break EVERYTHING" Strickland is about 23 also

Simeron is about to turn 21 I think isn't he?

GreenGator is 22 I think

... and who knows who else will show up.

So we are all good buddies that are diverse in age. The "Young Guns" will be there in other words. ;) :D

Andrew

I think I might be turning into a Mini-Chris Strickland. Just without the ability to explain technical operations.

Roy, come on down,, It'll be a good ole time,, probably very laid back,, as was the last dyno day I had attended,, lots of BS'ing and lots of smoke,, HP numbers are looking to be all over the place, some of the attendee's are expecting some pretty high HP, while others wil be stock.

No matter what,, we plan to have a good time.

Don't worry about your HP# on the dyno,, come out, and talk with other Diesel Heads.

I think we fall into the "not quite as young" category at 27. But I learned at the first dyno day that we're all just a bunch of kids no matter what age. :D

Also, I saw a post over on the DTR where someone was saying that they had trouble running on the dyno at this shop. Has dyno'd there before?

No Problem

No problem on the optical pick-up.

The shop had to get it adjusted(turn little screw on side;) ) and then we were good to go.

Thisw thing is turning out even better than I had hoped. We have guys coming from all over(even a guy talking coming from WI). And man are we going to have a he!! of a time.

Also about the age thing I'm 20 and have been playingg with diesels 4 years now. And I say you're never too young to start smokin' (out the exhaust of course).

Later,

Wes
